Bringing Napa Valley
Great wine starts in the vineyard. Located in the Republican River Valley, Superior Estates Winery, encompasses sixteen acres of high quality Midwest varietals including Traminette, Vignoles, Cayuga White, St. Vincent, Frontenac, and Catawba. Meticulous attention to detail is taken in every aspect of the vineyard from trellising techniques to training the vines.
Owners, Kelly, Randy, and Nate Meyer have brought a bit of the Napa Valley to Nebraska. Influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement of architecture, the beautiful winery includes details such as cathedral ceilings, towering beams and trellises, and colossal windows with inviting views of the fields. Visitors can view the vineyard from the entry way, tasting room Chancellor Hall and the courtyard. The design of the building reflects the entire process. From the stone planter representing the earth to the tasting room which reflects the end of the grape journey the thoughtful composition was created by Randy Meyer, owner of architectural firm Meyer & Associates in Omaha.
